Our story
From Hiroshima to the Cotswolds.
I grew up in Hiroshima, Japan, and have lived in Britain for more than twenty years. Today I live in the Cotswolds, where I make Wisteria Hill Botanicals.
Why these balms
Simple balms. Real Japanese essential oils.
Each balm is made here in small batches with a moisturising base of jojoba, olive squalane, shea butter, beeswax and vitamin E. Original is unscented. The others each contain one carefully selected essential oil from Japan.
Lemon comes from Hiroshima Prefecture. Todo Fir, Akaezo Spruce and Hakka Mint come from Hokkaido. Hinoki and Yuzu are Japanese oils too. The balms are made in the Cotswolds; the scents come from Japan.
